Description
Just a ten minute walk downhill to the beach, this villa’s perched position on the cliffside gives it the most fantastic views of the ocean. It sits on the gorgeous Saline Point – one of the most exclusive areas in St Lucia’s Cap Estate – and has plenty of top spots nearby, like historical Pigeon Island to the left and the distant island of Martinique to the right. If you can bear to leave the views, the villa’s just a short 4km drive to the restaurants and shops in Rodney Bay.
Sleeping just 4, Lemon Tree isn’t the biggest villa – but it does has a very spacious layout both inside and out. There’s a round-edged infinity pool for soaking up the sunny weather, with an accompanying pool deck and ocean-facing loungers. Leading onto a wrap-around deck, there are a number of outdoor relaxation spots, with a couple of smaller dining tables under cover for al fresco meals. Inside, the whitewashed ground floor is indulgently open plan. It’s simply styled and welcomingly uncrowded, with an interior that dazzles all in white and floor-to-ceiling doors that lead out to the deck. There are splashes of colour thanks to the décor and finishings, but the lovely tiled flooring, large sofa area and dining table all match the bright white walls. The look-through kitchen, well-equipped with comforting mod-cons, is no different. Completing the ground floor is the guest suite. It has a large en suite bathroom and is twin bedded, but can be converted to a super king on request. The room also enjoys direct access to the outdoor decking and pool area. The villa’s master bedroom can be found on its very own first floor level. It’s spacious with a super king size bed, and has the indulgence of a seating area that beckons for a good book. Also equipped with a large en suite bathroom, this suite includes the added luxury of its own private deck. Furnished with sun loungers, it’s the perfect spot for a sunbathing session or a good soak up of the views.
