Villa Decaj

Tucked away in a quiet, but idyllic spot, in the island’s gorgeous Cap Estate,  this newly revamped villa looks over the most beautiful views of the north and west coasts of St Lucia. Following an upscale refurbishment in 2019, the villa has had a contemporary rethink, but still retains the bright and airy features typical of the island’s laidback feel.

The panoramic views from the first floor patio are fantastic – overlooking the ocean and neighbouring 18-hole Championship golf course, there’s a dining table and comfy outdoor seating soaking up the views, great for any al fresco dinners or sunset-watching evening cocktails. Inside, the first floor is light and open plan and combines another dining area (with cooling ceilings fans for humid-heavy evenings), a newly refurbished kitchen – furnished with all the necessary mod-cons, and even swanky features like the under cupboard lighting – and a spacious central sitting room, complete with a lovely vaulted ceiling and large French doors that lead out to the patio. Two bedroom suites, including the master super king size bedroom, make up the rest of the first floor. The master opens to a Juliet balcony and the second double opens to the front terrace. Head downstairs to the ground floor and there’s another spacious, bright and dining area, with a gorgeous fan-cooled open space for complete relaxation. A brand new games room brings all the family fun, with a generous 7ft pool table and air hockey –  a mini-sized basketball court is also available to use outside. There are a further three good-sized bedrooms for use on the ground floor – a double with a bathroom en suite, and a king size and double sharing access to a separate shower room. The ground floor has direct access to the pool area through the sitting room’s patio doors. Another large outdoor dining table sleeps 10-12 guests, and there’s a private pool, patio sun loungers, outdoor sofas and even a hammock overlooking ocean views for maximum villa indulgence.

The villa is just 2.5km from the lively town of Rodney Bay, and just 1.2km from the lovely beach of Anse du Cap. If you don’t fancy getting out and about, guests are looked after by a cook/house keeper, who works 6 days a week to ensure you have the most memorable holiday in St Lucia.
