Description
Poised just above the waterline at the south-eastern end of Apraos Bay, the Studio is so close to the sea it looks almost like a boathouse. A beautiful spot for two people, its sunbathing terrace juts into the water, and a few steps away is Kalamaki’s long beach. Here, the sand is a perfect playground for children, and a beach bar and taverna are strategically placed for leisurely lunches and long iced coolers. These can, of course, be accessed in a more conventional way, but the road route is less fun!
Perched on the rocks above the studio, Apraos House looks out to sea from twenty five steps up. A covered veranda is comfortably furnished as an al fresco sitting room, complemented by a sunny dining terrace, and within the house a style of island simplicity is carefully blended with contemporary facilities. With air conditioning in both buildings, the house has a well equipped kitchen and open-plan sitting room, while the studio has its own little kitchenette area.
