Description
This traditional stone house sits nestled in the hills of Chianti, just 10km from the village and trattorias of Gaiole in Chianti. Perfectly placed for easy reach to the nearby medieval villages, the historic city of Siena is only a 36km drive from the villa, too. Everything about this farmhouse screams you’re in Tuscany – there’s the cypress-studded driveway, gorgeous stone exterior, traditional wooden shutters and a panoramic view of the surrounding countryside. A well-maintained garden adds to the exterior charms, with a sun-kissed private pool and indulgent Jacuzzi. Inside, the villa has a traditional country feel; wooden beamed ceilings and huge brick arch doorways lead through to the living spaces, where statement fireplaces, intricate wall murals and patterned rugs add to the comforting interior character. A gorgeous sitting room encourages evening relaxation with huge sofas and armchairs, and there are two kitchens with direct access to the covered outdoor terrace, perfectly furnished for the expectant warm summer evenings. There are four bedrooms shared between the two floors of the villa. On the ground floor, a stylish four-poster double bedroom is accessible only from the garden – both private and elegantly decorated, there’s an en suite bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and separate shower for maximum indulgence. Head upstairs and you’ll find an additional sitting room, complete with a large feature fireplace, plus an en suite double and twin bedroom, and a larger double suite, complete with four poster bed, a private sitting area and generous-sized bathroom.
