Villa Shamsum, near Marrakech

The main house is incredibly spacious and decorated in a contemporary style, painted in a cool pastel colour palette with beautiful portrait photography adorning the walls. A bright and airy living space offers comfortable seating and a modern fireplace, alongside an indoor dining area and a fabulous kitchen where a dedicated team of staff prepare three meals per day for all guests. Sliding glass doors lead to a charming terrace that is furnished for al fresco dining and relaxing. In the centre of the lawn a 15m long pool takes pride of place, paired with a poolside pergola offering soft seating in the shade and a hammock for outdoor snoozing. 

There are four spacious and beautifully decorated bedrooms within the main house, including the master suite with a freestanding bath tub; the canvas lodge offers further accommodation for four guests including a double bedroom and a bunk bedroom, which is perfect for children. The canvas lodge, set in the southeast corner of the grounds is a unique offering that allows guests to be immersed in nature. Another unique and important element of Villa Shamsum is the fact that it uses geothermal and solar energy, making it a positive energy house. This simply means that the villa produces more energy than it consumes through a special air cooling system and a solar heated pool. Elsewhere within the grounds there is a clay boules court, table tennis and an open air cinema room, meanwhile the delights of Marrakech are just 15 minutes away.
