Description
It would be hard to beat the picture perfect location of Kurma Beach House. A gate at the end of the garden opens onto Habaraduwa beach, a mile long stretch of powdery white sand backed by swaying palms; this beach is also known for its turtles who lay their eggs at night. There are a number of restaurants within walking distance, while Galle Fort is just 10km away for sightseeing, shopping and dining. If you’d prefer to stay within the comfort of your villa, a team of staff will ensure that you are very well looked after, with a chef, a house manager, a night watchman and a laundry lady.
The villa itself has been beautifully designed with a huge open living area with comfortable seating and high wood-beamed ceilings. This opens out to the terrace with a table for al fresco dining and further seating for relaxing. The private pool is quite spectacular, accompanied by parasols and wooden loungers looking across the lawned garden and out to sea. The ground floor has two double bedrooms, which are both en suite with king size 4 poster beds. On the first floor is a small single bedroom with shower room suitable for staff and available on request.
